EA Fifa Future Stars   Roles: DesignAt BUCK I had the chance to contribute some designs to this insane project. The ask was a mind-bending neon powered high octane cel animated 50 second spot from concept to delivery in less than a month for the EA FIFA franchise. With all hands on deck we pulled out every trick in the book on this one - a combo of AI, 3D, and some good old 2D cel animation. I personally designed frames and characters while working with the creative tech and 3D team to dream up ways of creating a seamless cel animation look while leveraging 3D.



You can see some of the work from the frames I designed below, translated into a 3D world using AI trained using textured frames to replicate the sketchy hand-drawn cel style.
